Focus Retreat
"Kathy, it was my pleasure to participate in this very important S.C.O.R.⇔E.™ Focus Retreat for Voci di Sorelle. I think it was a brilliant move and everyone there felt they had ownership in Voci's growth and development opportunities. It was a "home run" for this wonderful nonprofit organization!"
As the first phase, the highly interactive Focus Retreat assesses the organization's fundraising activity potential and desired outcomes. A carefully selected group of 20-24 of the nonprofit's stakeholders is brought together in a collaborative process to identify the organization's S.C.O.R. – strengths, challenges, opportunities and required resources, which leads to "E." – the effective event. The participants discuss and prioritize the findings and then, working in small groups, draft an event mission statement that defines the purpose and target audience of a potential signature event.
